Warmth and Strength. Light and Shadow. The Rotondo Gold Tourbillon Remains Unmistakably Bianchet.

A new material can transform far more than the appearance of a timepiece. It can reshape its personality.

Rotondo UltraFino Gold : An architecture of contrast

Some watches change completely when executed in a precious metal. Others simply become more luxurious versions of themselves. The Rotondo UltraFino Gold instead reveals another facet of the same design philosophy.

The architecture remains untouched with the same ultra-thin flying tourbillon, the same flowing geometry, the same commitment to mechanical performance, but the experience changes entirely. Rose gold introduces warmth where titanium expressed purity. Black accents become more graphic. Light behaves differently across every surface, giving the watch a richer, more sculptural presence.

A tourbillon, first and always

Bianchet occupies a rather unique place in contemporary haute horlogerie. The Maison builds only flying tourbillon watches. Every collection, every calibre and every design decision begins with this complication, not as a showcase, but as the mechanical heart around which the entire watch is conceived.

The Rotondo UltraFino Gold is no exception. At its centre is the automatic calibre UR01, an ultra-thin flying tourbillon movement measuring just 3.85 mm thick. Developed in Grade 5 titanium and finished in black PVD, combines remarkable visual lightness with impressive structural resilience, capable of resisting shocks of up to 5,000 G.

The openworked architecture reveals the movement in its entirety, while an 18K gold rotor introduces both warmth and contrast as it rotates through the skeletonized landscape. It's not your usual ultra-thin tourbillon. It was engineered to be worn, not simply admired.

One architecture. Two distinct expressions.

The Rotondo UltraFino Gold builds upon the technical platform introduced with the titanium model, preserving everything that defines the collection: an ultra-thin flying tourbillon, 100-metre water resistance, exceptional shock resistance and an uncompromising commitment to geometry. What changes is the emotion.

Collectors can choose between two versions. The first combines the integrated gold bracelet with an additional black rubber strap. On the bracelet, the Rotondo UltraFino Gold becomes an architectural statement, every link extending the geometry of the case. Switch to rubber, and it immediately adopts a more contemporary, performance-oriented character.

The second version is delivered with two rubber straps. The black option reinforces the technical spirit of the watch, while the white strap offers a strikingly different interpretation, bringing a lighter, more graphic aesthetic that accentuates the skeletonized movement.

Whichever configuration is chosen, versatility is built into the experience, allowing the watch to move effortlessly between occasions without ever compromising its identity.

The luxury of hand finishing on the Rotondo gold tourbillon

Skeletonization exposes everything. There is nowhere to hide imperfect finishing, which makes every detail matter even more. The Rotondo UltraFino Gold embraces this challenge through traditional haute horlogerie craftsmanship. The case alternates between satin-brushed surfaces and polished bevels, allowing light to define the geometry rather than overwhelm it.

Inside the calibre, each bridge is painstakingly hand-finished, with more than 30 hours dedicated to hand-bevelling alone. Every polished edge catches the light differently, giving the movement a remarkable sense of depth despite its extraordinary thinness.

These are details that many owners will discover gradually over years of wear.

Small reminders that true luxury often resides in what takes the longest to create.
